Can you cast Fey touched spells with spell slots?
Thanks! Fey and Shadow Touched spells can be upcast by anyone, including a Warlock. The feats grant one free casting of each spell/long rest without using a spell slot. These would be cast at the base level of the spell.
Are Fey touched spells prepared?
Functionally speaking, they’ll act like they’re always prepared, but the spell that isn’t Misty Step is not converted to being a wizard spell – if you used the feat to pick up a non-wizard spell, it’s still a non-wizard spell.
Is shadow touched a good feat?
You learn the invisibility spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. The 1st-level spell must be from the illusion or necromancy school of magic. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot.
How do different classes learn spells?
The usual way to learn spells from a different class is the magic initiate feat which lets you learn 1 level 1 spell and 2 cantrips, but you can only cast the leveled spell once per day and can’t use your slots for it unless you are that class. There are a few other feats that can get you a cantrip or ritual spells.
Does favored foe require concentration?
You can’t concentrate on both a D&D spell and Favored Foe at the same time. Whether you’re concentrating on a spell or something else that requires concentration (as if it were spell), you can concentrate on only one thing at a time.

Pros. With the Gift of Alacrity, you can almost always guarantee that your party will go first in combat. I say almost always because there will be chances that one or two of the enemies will get a higher roll, but that is the law of percentages.

Can a racial feat give you a class spell?
