Neither Reave nor Throw did it in ME2. Biotics could only be detonated by Warp.
Does Mass Effect 2 have biotic combos?
Mass Effect 2 and 3 introduce biotic combos. We take a look at how they work, how to set them up, and the uses they have.
Is biotic charge melee damage?
As far as I know, melee damage does not affect biotic charge damage. You better upgrade charge itself to increase its damage (and other benefits).
What does warp do in mass effect?
Warp is a biotic power in Mass Effect 2. Warp spawns a mass effect field that damages enemy targets and stops health regeneration. It deals double damage to barriers and armor and will detonate any biotic powers affecting the target, such as Pull or Singularity.
How does biotic charge work?
The character uses biotics to augment speed and strength, and charges across the battlefield towards a target. This culminates in a powerful collision that sends most unprotected enemies flying backward, inflicting massive damage.
What kind of explosion do you get with Warp?
Warp will simultaneously cause a fire explosion and prime for a biotic explosion, which Throw will then detonate. This biotic could perform the same 2 explosions in a slightly slower, but more damaging manner by opening with Warp and taking advantage of the Pierce and Expose evolutions.
Can a fire attack cause a biotic explosion?
Since no fire attack can cause a biotic explosion, it is now double primed. If the enemy is hit with 2 universal detonators in a row, it will trigger a fire explosion first and then a biotic explosion. Example 2: Snap Freeze, Flamer, Warp, Warp, Throw = Fire Explosion, Cryo Explosion, Biotic Explosion.
Can a concussive shot cause a biotic explosion?
Dark Channel is still present and the second Throw will cause a Biotic Explosion. Example 2: An enemy is hit with: Flamer, Reave, Concussive Shot, Throw. Reave cannot detonate Flamer and becomes the most recent primer. Concussive Shot cannot detonate a Biotic Explosion so it skips over Reave and detonates Flamer instead, causing a Fire Explosion.
What can you do with Warp in Mass Effect?
Warp will simultaneously cause a Fire Explosion and prime for a Biotic Explosion, which Throw will then detonate. The same 2 explosions can be achieved in a similar fashion to Example 1 by: opening with Warp, shooting the enemy, then using Throw two times in a row.
