Here’s the thing, though: Webkinz don’t die, at least in the spiritual sense.

There are only a few safe and secure ways to access a Webkinz code. One of them is to buy a Webkinz soft toy. This way you are guaranteed to receive a unique and unused code which you and your child can use to access the exclusive features on the Webkinz website.
Can a child outgrow their Webkinz account?
While it is true that children will outgrow their Webkinz account and may no longer use it, the account may be linked to personal details such as credit card information, so there is a very small chance that others will be willing to give Webkinz codes away.
Does Webkinz delete accounts?
But nearly 15 years after launch, many of those virtual pets may have only days left to live. Ganz, the company that owns the Webkinz brand, has announced that it will permanently delete all archived, inactive accounts on October 1st, 2019.

Webkinz accounts don’t expire anymore. You can still access it even if you don’t adopt a pet yearly and whatnot. If you don’t adopt a new pet by December 10th your account goes into limited mode, where you can only participate in and do certain things. Then if you adopt another pet your account goes back into the full mode again.
Can you delete Webkinz off your account?
You can delete your child’s Webkinz account using a Parent’s Account that is set up in the Account Controls section of the Parent’s Area. Once you submit your request, your child’s account will be deleted after 7 days.
How do you delete your Webkinz account?
