Those spells slots are recovered after every short rest. So if your party takes 2 short rests in a day, you’ll be able to use 6 spell slots. Plus – warlocks always cast their spells at the highest level possible for their level. So at 9th level, you’re casting all of your spells as 5th level spells.
How many times can a warlock cast?
You have two spell slots that can be used to cast any of your spells. The spell slot is level 2 so any spell of level 1 is cast as a level 2 spell for purpose of casting at higher levels. These two slots restore after a short rest.
Why can warlocks only cast 2 spells?
As for why Warlock has fewer spell slots, one of the reasons is because no other caster can deal that kind damage with a Cantrips spell. Because of eldritch blast and it’s invocations. Even when you have no spell slots remaining, warlocks are quite good.

Which is harder to master mages or warlocks?
Mages and warlocks both are hard to master. Warlock pets make them less squishy, but mages have 1230784214 slows to get away. Just make one of both and level them up to 20 and stick with the one you like more or keep playing both.
