Can changelings change at will?
Changelings are able to change their form at will without expending a spell slot or using a disguise kit, but there are limitations to their abilities. For instance, they cannot change the clothing or equipment that they are wearing.
Do changelings weight change?
Changeling can change their shape to a height and weight of whatever they wish, but not to the point that it changes their size. A medium sized changeling can change its appearance into that of a dwarf or a half orc or even a hag, but not a small child or halfling or a Goliath.
Can a changeling change shape to look like a person?
As long as you’ve seen the person you want to look like then you can most certainly change your appearance to that of that specific person, as long as that person isn’t a different size to you has the same basic shape as you.
What kind of life does a changeling have?
Changelings tend to form “personas”, full identities that they live with for extended periods of time. Changelings put a lot of thought and work into these personas, and in ideal circumstances they can last a lifetime and form real relationships wearing these personas.
Can a can Changeling change into a human?
Your clothing and other equipment don’t change in appearance, size, or shape to match your new form, requiring you to keep a few extra outfits on hand to make the most compelling disguise possible. Even to the most astute observers, your ruse is usually indiscernible.
Can a changeling appear as another humanoid race?
You can appear as a member of another humanoid race which will include things like tails, frills, gills, wings, horns, etc. However, your stats do not change so you cannot use the tail prehensively, cannot breathe underwater with the gills and cannot fly with the wings.
