Hey guys, I just wanted to know if you can see in a fog cloud if you have devil’s sight? Nope, fog is not darkness. Fog would be a physical barrier made of water vapor.
Can you see inside fog cloud?
Anyone in a Fog Cloud is effectively blinded and cannot see. This means they cannot see anything – be it in the cloud or outside of it.

So RAW, the fog cloud is not normal/magical darkness, it does not make things invisible, it is not a visual illusion and isn’t like a shape-shifting creature so I’d say that true sight would not help.
