Can flesh turn stone?

You attempt to turn one creature that you can see within range into stone. If the target’s body is made of flesh, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it is restrained as its flesh begins to harden.

Does flesh to stone work on undead?

The spell can affect objects and undead, as long as the target is primarily made of flesh or bone, such as a corpse or zombie. The spell doesn’t affect the target’s gear. If cast on a creature with equipment, the creature transforms into stone but its gear doesn’t.

How do you get rid of petrification?

Petrified is a condition, there are currently two spells that remove it. Greater Restoration as mentioned here, and Wish, the 9th level spell. Usually there are also consumables (potions/salves/oils) that will remove petrification, however we have not seen any of those yet (we’ll likely see them with the DMG though).

Do basilisks turn people to stone?
