Major image only lets you create one image of yourself. Note the singular there. Only one illusion of one creature can be created by the spell.
Do silent images move?
No. Again, the way for Silent Image to ‘move’ is to have shift locations and it will create a natural appearance of movement.
Can minor illusions combine with silent image?
Yes, you just need two spells to do it. You cast silent image to give you the visuals, then minor illusion to add sound. Neither spell requires concentration, so keeping them both up at the same time isn’t a problem.
How far can you move major image?
Yes, you can move the image out of the original range As long as you are within 120 ft radius of the illusionary object, you may move it to any other point within range.
Can I see through my own silent image?
There are only 2 ways to see through the image, “Physical interaction” or “use your action” and make a save. Knowing that it is an illusion doesn’t allow you to see through it.
Is Minor illusion animated?
No, minor illusion is a static image that cannot be moved If you create an image of an object–such as a chair, muddy footprints, or a small chest–it must be no larger than a 5-foot cube. The image can’t create sound, light, smell, or any other sensory effect.
What can you do with the silent image?
Silent image is actually rather useful. Need to sneak into a fort? Wait til dawn and use it to mirror the ground underneath to cover your party (they still need their own move silent though). Use it to produce enemies to distract your opponent (Hey, sometimes vision overrides!) Illusions are a VERY powerful thing to those with imagination!
How does a silent image work in D & D?
The image appears at a spot within range and lasts for the duration. The image is purely visual; it isn’t accompanied by sound, smell, or other sensory effects.
Can a fog image be used as a silent image?
Outside light sources (like the sun) will be blocked, creating an area of nonmagical darkness inside the illusion, but not for people who disbelieve it. Fog is probably a simpler (and less bizarre) way of achieving the same effect, though. Keep in mind that Silent Image is a Figment, not a Glamer.
How can you tell if an image is an illusion?
Physical interaction with the image reveals it to be an illusion, because things can pass through it. A creature that uses its action to examine the image can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence ( Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
