If your group has a wizard or finds a wizard NPC you can have them cast find familiar into a ring of spell storing. The spell is not lost if you unattune to it. Attuning simply allows you to cast spells from or into the ring.

So if you get the Find Familiar spell through Magic Initiate, but don’t have the ability to perform Ritual Casting, you are still able to perform the spell as normal. You simply won’t be able to cast it using the Ritual Spellcasting rules. Choose a class: bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard.

Find familiar is a First Level spell. If you choose the wizard spell list, then you can choose that spell, and be cast as described in the Feat. It takes only the casting time, and not the extra ritual time to do so.

If you were able to cast it as a ritual, yes, you could cast it more than once. Generally, yes, but not exactly correct. A spell learned from Magic Initiate is a class spell. You literally have to pick a class that you are learning the spell from: “Magic Initiate ( )”.
