Sorcerers can’t change their cantrips. Since cantrips don’t use spell slots, you don’t actually have spell slots for them. You just know them. So, that means the rules don’t allow you to replace them with other cantrips.
Can you ever change cantrips?
Cantrip House Rules Cantrips count as 1st level spells for purposes of price and scribing. When you gain a level, you may swap one cantrip for another that you have available. As a Downtime Activity, a cantrip can be swapped for another that you have available after 10 days of practice and the expenditure of 20gp.
Can you change cantrips in Pact of the tome?
There aren’t any ways to add extra cantrips to your Tome, short of creating a custom feat or custom Invocation. Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
Can clerics switch out cantrips?
Can clerics change their cantrips after a long rest? Nope. When you’re preparing your spells after a long rest, you’re preparing things for which you have spell slots. Cantrips don’t use spell slots.
Do Druids prepare cantrips?
Since the cantrips are not prepared and you learn them as you level you cannot change them out when you prepare spells. It is important to note that you do retain all of the cantrips you learn as you level, new cantrips such as when you choose your circle do not replace your previously known cantrips.
Can a Warlock change Eldritch invocations?
The same mechanic appies with Eldritch Invocations. From 2nd level onwards, Warlocks can replace one known Invocation with another whenever they gain a level in this class.
Can you swap out Warlock spells?

Do clerics have access to all cantrips?
None, because Clerics ‘Prepare’ their spells without having to learn them. Clerics, Paladins, and Druids are unique spellcasters in that, unlike every other spellcaster, they do not learn a certain number of spells per level up. This means that they have the entire list of spells to work from.
