The Wall of Force will not block the casting of such spells at a point of origin on the other side of it. For example, a Fireball or a Fire Storm spell.
Can you cast fireball on the other side of a wall?
Fireball can go around walls, including over the top of them, so if the Wall is only 5 feet high, the Fireball will collide with the Wall, and still blast things just on the other side of it. A target has total cover if it is completely concealed by an obstacle.
Does dragon breath go around corners 5e?
Dragon’s breath would come through the slits. If there are places on the wall where you could stand away from the arrow slits, those spots would have total cover (see below diagram for a cone AoE).

The description of fireball simply says you choose a “point you choose within range” as the point of origin of the spell. In general, you don’t need a line of sight/effect from you to every point within the area of effect of a spell or ability unless it says otherwise.
