Short Answer: Yes. While grappling, touch attacks against your opponent automatically succeed. Long Answer: Assuming you pass the concentration check (in order to cast a spell while grappled). Touch spells can only be delivered by a caster’s free hand.
Do Touch spells provoke?
Touch Attacks: Touching an opponent with a touch spell is considered to be an armed attack and therefore does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Do you roll for a melee spell attack?
This means that Spiritual Weapon is considered a Melee Spell Attack, despite the fact that you’re not next to the target; the conjured weapon is what’s making the attack roll, after all! Correct, you cannot cast absorb elements in response to shocking grasp. Reactions happen after their triggers unless specified otherwise. The trigger for absorb elements is taking damage… This means that you never have the opportunity to cast absorb elements, as you correctly deduced.

If a creature is using a magical ability that is not a spell, you cannot Counterspell. The exception would be if the ability specifies that the ability allows or involves the casting of a spell.
Are there any spells with range of touch?
But sadly for my prospective chainlock, there exist very few spells with the range of touch, combat oriented or otherwise. Also, a familiar’s ability to deliver spells explicitly keys off of those with the range of touch. I don’t think there’s any wiggle room from a narrative perspective.
How does a touch spell work in Pathfinder?
In most cases, if you don’t discharge a touch spell on the round you cast it, you can hold the charge (postpone the discharge of the spell) indefinitely. You can make touch attacks round after round until the spell is discharged. If you cast another spell, the touch spell dissipates.
How does a tenth level touch spell work?
A tenth-level caster who happens to have six willing targets (for chill touch, mind) would be allowed to affect them all as part of casting. But if he has seven willing targets, he still would only be able to affect six targets because that’s the most he can affect in one round and he’s not allowed to use his extra uses of chill touch next round.
