Does torment level affect greater rift difficulty?
Even assuming that you want to exclusively run greater rifts, the new torment levels will help you continue to do so. Greater rifts require GR keys that drop from normal Nephalem rift bosses. At higher torment levels, these bosses will drop multiple keys.
Do you have to play all levels of Greater Rift?
Bear in mind that you might not need to play through every level of a Greater Rift as you gear up and complete them more quickly. The more quickly you complete a Greater Rift level, the larger a chance you’ll have to “jump up” additional levels (and potentially multiple levels if your time is exceptionally fast).
What happens at the end of a greater rift?
Legendary Gems can also be leveled up to a higher level at the end of a completed Greater Rift — the higher level the GR, the more chance Urshi can increase the level of your Legendary Gem. You can also spend gold to run an Empowered Greater Rift, which adds one extra chance to upgrade a Legendary Gem when completing the Rift.
Which is higher Greater Rift 76 or torment 16?
Greater Rift Level 76+ = higher than Torment 16. Presumably the same rate of scaling continues, and thus if there were Torments higher than 16, they would be roughly GR80 = Torment 17, GR85 = Torment 18, etc., with GR100 = Torment 21. GR30 was about the limit for a very well-equipped (softcore) character entering the Patch 2.1 testing on the PTR.
Where do you get the Grift key for Greater Rift?
In those days all Greater Rift keys had a GR#, and players needed a Grift key of the correct number to enter that level of GRift. However, players could only find GR1 keys from Rift Guardians, and thus had to enter Greater Rift level 1, which was equivalent to Easy.
