Can you Counter target spell a creature?

Yes. Creature spells are spells just like any other before they resolve and can be countered by counterspells. The countered creature spell will go to it’s owner’s graveyard. Generally yes, a counterspell can counter a creature.

Can you attack a creature with summoning sickness?

This rule is informally called the “summoning sickness” rule. If you have a way of tapping, summoning sickness does not affect whether you can untap the creature to use it’s ability. It only states that it cannot attack or tap to activate it’s ability.

Can you counter a Summon?

Almost everything you play is a “spell”. A counterspell lets you counter almost anything that you play (not necessarily everything that gets put into play). Creatures are spells that you play, so they can be countered. Once they’re in play, they’re permanents.

In the past players used to be able to summon an unlimited number of creatures including stronger creatures than today like Dragons which can no longer be summoned. When the player logged off or disconnected the summons would turn into wild monsters that behaved the same as a normal creature.

Can a creature with summoning sickness be targeted?

The only thing that summoning sickness prevents is using the creature’s own tap ability or attacking. You are allowed to target a just-summoned creature with spells and abilities. You’re also allowed to enchant it, to sacrifice it, to attach Equipment to it, and to block with it.
