Currently there is no way to return to Skuldafn (not even through exploits, as Skuldafn cannot be found in the “normal” world and is only accessible through that one quest) once you leave. If you missed something, you will sadly have to reload an earlier save.
Can your follower go to Skuldafn?
When you travel to Skuldafn and then Sovngarde, your followers will not accompany you. This is as designed; you are intended to travel to Skuldafn/Sovngarde alone.

The console command you are looking for is “coc ” and you’ll probably need to do it again to get out. Use coc skuldafn02 to get there. The codes for Skuldafn are skuldafn01 trough skuldafn04. 02 should put your back in the Skuldafn temple. coc whiterun might bring you back home.

This mod allows you to return to Skuldafn on the back of any tamed dragon, Odahviing or Durnehviir once you’ve finished the main questline. Why is Skuldafn not unlocked for fast travel?
Skuldafn is one of the locations that will not unlock for fast travel when the console command: TMM 1 is used, because there is no map marker reference given in the Creation Kit. At higher levels, the only draugr encountered may be deathlords. No other location in the game has so many draugr walking around in the open world.
Why does the game say Skuldafn instead of Skyrim?
This can easily be noticed when saving the game in the courtyard. The game files say “Skuldafn” instead of “Skyrim” as usual when outside all interior areas, including cities. There are two turn-stone puzzles and a puzzle door inside the temple. For the first turn-stone puzzle, the outside stones must match the key stones near them on either side.
