No. There are a number of abilities that come close, but there is currently no official method to add your proficiency bonus to the Dexterity check you make for initiative.

Do Barbarians Get Cantrips? No. As a class, Barbarians do not get any cantrips. If you multiclass or take the Magic Initiate feat, you can gain access to cantrips.
Can a variant human take the skilled feat?
As a variant human, you can even take this at first level, instead of the Skilled feat. You don’t need to “spend” the new skill proficiency granted by the feat on Religion, since you have it from your acolyte background — you can take something else.
Can you add initiative to a proficiency check?
Mostly for the Remarkable Athlete feature. This allows you to add half your proficiency bonus to Strength, Constitution, and most importantly Dexterity checks, that you don’t already add proficiency bonus. This includes Initiative checks.
