If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this attack replaces one of them. The target of your grapple must be no more than one size larger than you, and it must be within your reach.
Does grapple trigger extra attack?
No. The Attack action counts as the Attack action. But a feature that triggers when you take the Attack action (like Extra Attack) is not invalidated by grappling or shoving. If it only requires the Attack action, then yes, it’s compatible with grappling or shoving.
Can you grapple and attack with multi attack?
Generally, no. The monster’s Multiattack entry will specify not just the number of attacks they can take, but which of their attacks (defined in the same section of their statblock) they are allowed to take. They can’t just swap any of those out with grapple or shove or any other attacks they might have.
Can you grapple a dragon 5E?
First, the dragon has to use their entire action to attempt to Grapple the target. Unlike player characters who have Extra Attack, monsters have Multiattack, which explicitly state which attacks the monster can use with it.
What happens when you grapple with more than one creature?
Creatures that are one or more size categories smaller than you count for half, creatures that are one size category larger than you count double, and creatures two or more size categories larger count quadruple. When you are grappling with multiple opponents, you choose one opponent to make an opposed check against.
How many weapons can you use while grappling?
Attack Your Opponent: You can make an attack with an unarmed strike, natural weapon, or light weapon against another character you are grappling. You take a –4 penalty on such attacks. You can’t attack with two weapons while grappling, even if both are light weapons.
Can You grapple multiple opponents in RuneScape?
When you are grappling with multiple opponents, you choose one opponent to make an opposed check against. The exception is an attempt to escape from the grapple; to successfully escape, your grapple check must beat the check results of each opponent. That doesn’t answer my question, in fact I read that first before asking.
How do you move in a grapple in RuneScape?
Move: You can move half your speed (bringing all others engaged in the grapple with you) by winning an opposed grapple check. This requires a standard action, and you must beat all the other individual check results to move the grapple.
