Yes. The instant you “change channel” now before you can even step off into oblivion you are teleported back to Gilneas. It no longer works.

Duskhaven was a town located along the southwestern coast of Gilneas. Gwen Armstead was its mayor. It was the location that the evacuees from Gilneas City fled to as the worgen overran the capital.
Can you skip worgen starting zone?
Yes. They’ll have the option to skip their starting zones.
How do I get Duskhaven top hat?
Available as a random reward from the Duskhaven island expedition, this is the first transmogable top hat in the game! While it unfortunately appears to be cloth-only at the moment, hopefully it will be updated to cosmetic at some point.
Is there a way to skip the goblin starting area?
The only way to get off the Lost Isles is to complete the quest line. Any attempt to leave either through summoning, join battle ground or joining a dungeon will result in a message saying you need to complete the Goblin starting quest line.
What level do Worgen start at?

Are all Gilneas worgen?
Though not under Arugal’s thrall, the people of Gilneas were still transformed into the monstrous worgen. No one had seen a Gilnean for more than ten years until the Cataclysm, where it was discovered that they have been transformed into worgen, but have somehow retained their will.
How do you unlock Worgen heritage armor?
The Heritage of Gilneas is the heritage armor set for Worgen. To unlock the Heritage of Gilneas you will have to level up a Worgen character to 120, reach Exalted with Gilneas and then complete a short questline starting with The Shadow of Gilneas.
Can I solo Island Expeditions?
The inability to solo queue for Island Expeditions means that players will continue to struggle to queue. Therefore, the need for offloading Island Expedition Transmog (as warned in my previous post) may not be necessary now.
How do I get off Kezan?
To leave Kezan or the Lost Isles, you can complete all the quest chains. These will take you to Durotar by around level 12. If you want to leave sooner, you need to be summoned with either a Meeting Stone or with the help of a warlock for Ritual of Summoning.
