We know that Multiattack is an action a monster can take. If a monster has two actions, then it stands to reason it can Multiattack twice if it has two actions, in the same way that the Fighter can Attack action twice with Extra Attacks when using Action Surge.
Does extra attack give another bonus action?
Assuming the extra attack is the “Extra Attack” Fighter feature, or something similar, yes. If the extra attack is an attack with an offhand weapon, then no, because both Misty Step and offhand attacks use your Bonus Action. No, that is not by the rules.
Can a monster break up a multiattack action?
Since a monster’s multiattack action is composed of multiple attacks, could a monster break that action up? Example: Could a yuan-ti abomination take the multiattack action, making a bite attack, then moving 30ft., making a scimitar attack, then move 10ft. and make a constrict attack?
Can You multiattack twice with the extra attack?
That means that not only do you not get two Multiattack s, but if you take the Multiattack action you don’t get a second attack from Extra Attack either, because only the Attack action triggers Extra Attack’s benefits.
Can a monster use an attack of opportunity?
The monsters can use any melee attack to make an attack of opportunity as it only requires the attack to be melee. For this reason, having the Extra Attack feature shouldn’t work with these types of actions (if polymorphed or shifted) because the feature requires that the player take the “attack” action.
Is the multi attack an action or a feature?
Multi-attack is not an action, it is a specific (cf. general) type of Attack action, as is the Extra Attack feature for (some) PCs. Summary: The PC in wereboar form can attack twice using its Attack action. The Extra Attack of the barbarian allows it to attack twice when it takes the Attack action.
