A: No. The Webkinz desktop app is only a new “gateway” to access your current Webkinz account. Instead of using a web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, or Safari to log in, you will instead install the app and then use it to connect over the internet to your Webkinz account.
Why can’t I play Webkinz on my Chromebook?
As most of you know, browser support for the Flash plug-in will be ending in 2020. When this happens, you will no longer be able to start up Chrome or Firefox and play Webkinz.

How do you create a baby on Webkinz?
To do this, go to the Adoption Center, and tap the Baby area. There you will select the two pets and tap “Use Sparks”. Note that there is a Diamond cost to creating a baby. Your baby will take features from its parents, but will also receive unique features all its own.

How do you get rid of friends on Webkinz?
To remove a Pet Buddy, either drag it away from the window or add a different Pet Buddy to swap it. The swap feature also works by dragging and dropping directly into the room, or by dragging the Pet Buddy to your pet’s portrait.
