Can you recruit every student three houses?
There is no limit to how many characters you can recruit per run, but time is a natural roadblock. It’d be difficult to bond with every recruitable student, knight, and professor at Garag Mach before the time jump (the point in the game which most characters become unobtainable).

The units available in Golden Deer are characters from the Leicester Alliance: Lysithea von Ordelia, Leonie Pinelli, Marianne von Edmund, Ignatz Victor, Raphael Kirsten, Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, Hilda Valentine Goneril, the right hand, and the House Leader, Claude von Riegan (the house leader).
Can I recruit Hilda in Black Eagles?
UPDATE. We can now confirm that Hilda can be recruited outside the Golden Deer. If you are playing in the Black Eagle Route, you can recruit her between the time after Edelgard reveals her true goals, and before the timeskip.
Can you recruit Dimitri in Black Eagles?
Exceptions: As far as I can tell it is impossible to recruit Dmitri, Claude, and Dedue to the Black Eagles.
Can you recruit lysithea after Timeskip?
Specifically, each House is able to recruit one student post-timeskip. If you recruited them before the timeskip, you’ll have to get them again. They are: Lysithea for the Black Eagles, Lorenz for the Blue Lions, and Ashe for the Golden Deer. Some of your options at the monastery will change post-timeskip, too.
Does Flayn leave Black Eagles?
Flayn is shocked by Byleth’s decision to ally with Edelgard, and promptly leaves the Black Eagles, though this had been expected by Edelgard and Hubert. Anyone else landing the final blow, or defeating her after Seteth has already been killed, will result in Flayn’s death instead.

Do you get another chance to recruit the dog?
I can confirm that you get another chance to recruit the dog with the return to Ostagar DLC. Even if you never gave the kennel master the wilds flower. Happened to me a while ago where I just kinda spaced during the wilds bit. Dog should be sitting in the kennels where you first meet him to put the muzzle on him.
Is there a second chance for the Mabari?
If you didn’t give the Kennel Master the plant to heal the Mabari, he dies. So no, there’s no second chance. You can get rid of the bones or give them to other characters as gifts if you wish. They aren’t important for anything.
