The stone’s complete destruction (or transmutation into a different substance) expels you… As stated, a character could take a long rest and over sleep. Or a character is suffering from a previous entanglement and is rendered unconscious (not dead, not 0 hp, just unconscious), restrained ,or paralyzed.
Does Stone of controlling Earth Elementals concentration?
The stone can’t be used this way again until the next dawn. It treats it as though you’d cast conjure elemental and that spell requires concentration so based on the phrasing it sounds like it would also require it.
Can meld into stone be used on others?
No. Meld into stone targets the stone, and allows the caster to meld into it. The range of the meld into stone spell is listed as “Touch”.
Can you use planar binding with conjure celestial?
Planar Binding was specifically written to be used with Conjure Elemental (and Conjure Celestial, Conjure Fey, etc). Even Jeremy Crawford says that as a DM he would allow it if you begin casting it right after the conjure spell:
