Technically, no you can’t have two Pact Weapons. But technically, yes you can have one weapon as your Hexblade Weapon and a different weapon as your Pact Weapon.
Can you dual wield as Hexblade?
This making hexblade a very poor choice for a dual wielding character. As it allow you to use CHAR for attack and damage rolls you are much better of going for a heavy weapon that do more damage and lets you freely use your bonus action for hex curses, smites and such. Or go sword and board.
Can Warlock use sword?
Warlocks can use Daggers, One-handed Swords, Staves, Wands, and Offhands. Unlike many other classes, Warlocks do not depend on their weapon for dealing damage, since they do not attack directly with their weapons, with the possible exception of Wands.
Can you turn magic weapon into pact weapon?
As an action, you can create a pact weapon in your hand (you choose the form, you’re proficient with it, and it counts as magical). You can also transform a magic weapon into your pact weapon by performing a special ritual. The wording could not be clearer.
Can a warlock use Pact of the blade?
Generally, you won’t have a magic weapon you bonded with, and you can essentially cast a “Summon X” spell, where x is any weapon. Specifically, when you DO have a magic weapon, you can bond with the weapon and use your “Summon X” weapon spell to get your bonded magical weapon.
Can you summon a bow with the Pact of the blade?
You need the Improved Pact Weapon invocation, otherwise the Pact Blade is limited to melee weapons. This is not correct. Improved pact weapon lets you summon long bows, short bows, light and heavy crossbows. It also makes your pact weapon +1 AND lets it be used as your spellcasting focus.
Do you need ammo to summon a pact weapon?
The summoning feature is basically for imprisonment/disarmament scenarios. If your pact weapon is a bow/crossbow, you’ll need to find ammunition. Keep in mind, however, that you can choose the form of your weapon every time you summon it… If you’re in a situation where you don’t have ammunition then summon a different weapon. 🤷♂️
