No general rule allows you to insert a bonus action between attacks in a single action. You can interrupt a multiple-attack action with a bonus action/reaction only if the trigger of the bonus action/reaction is an attack, rather than the action. #DnD.
Can you move before extra attack?
Per the rules on movement, you can move before or after attack, or move both before and after the attack. There are a few abilities that require the Attack action to use: Extra Attack allows you to make one additional attack when you take the Attack action. (You may also move between the two attacks).
Is second attack a bonus action?
The bonus action used as part of Two-Weapon Fighting is an attack, but it is not the Attack action. When you are a 5th-level fighter and you take the Attack action, you can make two attacks. You can also use your bonus action to make an additional attack.
Can you cast Cantrips with extra attack?
Fighter’s “Action Surge” allows you to gain a second action, which you could use to cast a cantrip/leveled spell (but that is two actions and two castings) The New Bladesinger Classes extra attack feature allows you to cast a cantrip as one of your extra attacks, but you can’t use that to cast two cantrips.
Can you use booming blade with extra attack?
Second, neither green-flame blade nor booming blade works with Extra Attack or any other feature that requires the Attack action. Like other spells, these cantrips require the Cast a Spell action, not the Attack action, and they can’t be used to make an opportunity attack, unless a special feature allows you to do so.
When do you use the extra attack action?

How many attacks do you get with the attack action?
If you use this to take the Attack action, you get as many attacks as you would if you took it for your first action. So, a 20th level fighter can get 8 attacks in a turn – four from the first Attack action and four from the second Attack action. You could then use your bonus action to attack with your off-hand weapon (Two-Weapon Fighting).
Do you get extra attack with bonus action?
Your Bonus action does not benefit from the Extra Attack feature. Sorry, the Bonus Action unarmed strike in the Martial Arts section of the Monk class doesn’t state that it benefits from the Extra Attack feature.
