Does find Steed need sleep?
RAW it does need sleep, unless the sleep rules only apply to pc’s and not npc’s.
Why is find greater steed?
Most paladin won’t be good with animal Handling. Find steed solves most of those problems which is improved by find greater mount. Having a conjured horse means that you have it come underground at a moments notice or as you leave a city. It proves movement speed and granting some minor attacks.
Is find Steed intelligent?
The steed is intelligent and thus can only be an independent mount.
Can Paladin find Steed attack?
So, the paladin can command the steed to do any of the actions its form is normally capable of doing and it will carry that command out to the best of its ability.
Can a mount attack 5E?
No attack action allowed. An uncontrolled mount can still attack, however, you can’t control what it will do (this will mostly be done by the DM). It also retains its own initiative. Intelligent creatures, like dragons for example, always uncontrolled.
Is mounting a bonus action?
Dash gets you more movement, Disengage lets you move without provoking Opportunity Attacks, and your mount can Dodge any time that you don’t need Dash or Disengage. So long as your mount can take actions (even if that list of actions is limited), it can still take bonus actions.
Do mounts count as allies 5e?
Yes, as long as the mount is within 5 feet (emphasis mine) fighting as a seamless unit certainly implies a common cause, so a found steed would have this qualification as an Ally.
How many creatures can ride a mount 5e?
If you build a 10×10 platform on which your characters can ride, then you could conceivably fit 4 or even 5 smaller creatures on the mount.
