Many maneuvers enhance an attack in some way. You can use only one maneuver per attack. If you have additional attacks, from a feat, from the Extra Attack class feature or from some other source, you can use one additional superiority die per attack to use more maneuvers within the same round.
Are battle maneuvers bonus actions?
You can not make an attack, use one maneuver as your bonus action, and then use a second maneuver on that bonus action, because that’s using two maneuvers on one attack.
Can you use more than one battle Master maneuver per turn?
This refers to a single attack (roll), not an Attack action – so if you have the Extra Attack feature, you can use multiple maneuvers per turn (assuming you have the superiority dice for it) if you take the Attack action and make the qualifying attacks, but you could only use one maneuver on each of the attacks that are part of that action.
Can a battle master fighter apply the feinting attack and trip attack maneuvers?
A character with at least 3 Battle Master fighter levels and 2 barbarian levels is able to use Reckless Attack AND maneuvers to modify the same attack. While raging, you also get a modest damage bonus. You can only expend a superiority die for trip AFTER the attack hits and before you roll damage.
Can you use more than one maneuver per attack?
It says in the PHB that you can use only one maneuver per attack. If that’s per attack, not per attack action, that seems somewhat powerful, since after 5th level you get multiple attacks per attack action, not to mention the multiple attacks from an action surge. Is this supposed to mean per attack action?
