Yes: the Help Action does not preclude movement You can even move, take an action, move some more, take a bonus action, then move whatever you have left. Once you’ve moved up to the target and taken the Help action – created some sort of distraction – you are then free to move away.
Can you move during an attack action?
You can move between your Attack action and your bonus action, yes.
Do you have to roll for initiative?
Everyone rolls initiative once at the start of the fight and you don’t re-roll each round any more. Basically, everyone involved in combat rolls a d20 and adds their initiative modifier (this is their dex penalty/bonus unless they have feats or abilities that modify initiative).
Does extra attack give an extra bonus action?
You get no more than 1 bonus action on your turn. Extra Attack has no bearing on how the two-weapon fighting rule works, and that rule has no bearing on how Extra Attack works. And neither of them change how bonus actions work.
Does extra attack take your bonus action?
No general rule allows you to insert a bonus action between attacks in a single action. You can interrupt a multiple-attack action with a bonus action/reaction only if the trigger of the bonus action/reaction is an attack, rather than the action.
Can you move after a bonus action?
Note: Bonus actions are limited in availability (something has to grant you a bonus action) and reactions are typically often contingent on something else happening. But you can always move, take an action, and interact with an object.
What does it mean to react to an opportunity attack?
Certain special abilities, spells, and situations allow you to take a special action called a reaction. A reaction is an instant response to a trigger of some kind, which can occur on your turn or on someone else’s. The opportunity attack, described later in this section, is the most common type of reaction.
Can a ranged attack be made against more than one target?
You can make ranged attacks only against targets within a specified range. If a ranged attack, such as one made with a spell, has a single range, you can’t attack a target beyond this range. Some ranged attacks, such as those made with a longbow or a shortbow, have two ranges.
What to do when people roll the same initiative?
If a tie occurs, the DM decides the order among tied DM-controlled creatures, and the players decide the order among their tied characters. The DM can decide the order if the tie is between a monster and a player character. Optionally, the DM can have the tied characters and monsters each roll a d20 to determine the order, highest roll going first.
How is the Order of turns determined in combat?
The game organizes the chaos of combat into a cycle of rounds and turns. A round represents about 6 seconds in the game world. During a round, each participant in a battle takes a turn. The order of turns is determined at the Beginning of a combat encounter, when everyone rolls Initiative.
