You do not need to keep using an action (bonus or otherwise) to maintain concentration. Though you can’t cast a leveled spell with an action on the same turn you cast a spell as a bonus action. You will have to cast cure wounds on a different turn.
Does being incapacitated drop concentration?

The only condition that stops concentration is Incapacitated. So, Fear would not break concentration, whereas Hideous Laughter would. Edit- other conditions such as paralyzed, petrified, stunned, and unconscious also include incapacitated in their effects, so they would also break concentration.
