Every Enchantment will indeed stack its values. The value of the Enchantment’s effect will add on top of another Enchantment if it is the same one. This means enchanting a piece of equipment with the same Enchantments is not a waste of Enchantment Points and will even make your Enchantments stronger.
Can you play two of the same enchantments?
Yes you can. The only limit on enchantments is the same limit that all permanents have: the Legendary rule. You can only have 1 permanent in play of a given name if they are legendary. However, even if you enchant a creature with the same enchantment, subsequent enchantments might not do anything.
Do Diamond enchantments carry over to Netherite?
Keep your diamond gear until you get your Netherite enchanted and use a new, unenchanted set of diamond to craft said Netherite.
Can you use enchantments on more than one item?
Certain enchantments can be applied to multiple items, such as both an amulet and a ring. If I wear two items that grant the same bonus, does the bonus stack? (e.g. if I wear an amulet of +12% Alchemy and a ring of +12% Alchemy, do I get +24% to Alchemy?) Also, do some enchantments stack while others don’t?
Can You double enchant an item in Skyrim?
You cannot use the “Double Enchantment” perk in the enchanting tree to double-enchant a single item with the same enchantment, twice. Unlike in Oblivion, stacking skills above 100 actually increases their effectiveness. I can confirm that +carry weight, fortify alteration/destruction, better prices, +health, and +mana all stack.

Additional enchantments are chosen by this algorithm: With probability (modified level + 1) / 50, keep going. Otherwise, stop picking bonus enchantments. Remove from the list of possible enchantments anything that conflicts with previously-chosen enchantments.
