Tieflings have Fire Resistance 5, so as long as a source of fire damage can only do 5 or less damage to them in a single instance, they are functionally immune to that fire – it cannot do them any damage.
Can Tieflings breed with other races?
Humans have the ability to crossbreed with certain races, but tieflings have lost that ability. They can only breed with their ‘ancestor’ race, and even then they always breed true.
Can a Tiefling be a noble?
It’s perfectly possible to have a noble tiefling family either in a nation that is majority tiefling or a very accepting tolerant one. A tiefling could also come from a family of nobles who are no longer considered noble.
Can Tieflings be blue?
The phb says human or shades of red skin, but if you take a look at SCAG (sword coast adventure guide) there’s a sub race of tiefling called feral tieflings. In their description, they can have blue skin.
Can you become a Tiefling?
In the 5th Age campaigns, characters with human blood and ancestors with an infernal heritage can become a “tiefling”, even long after they have been born.
Do Tieflings have Tiefling parents?
Tieflings can come from either tiefling OR human parents. Tieflings are either born from other tieflings, or are born from humans who have distant fiendish blood or corruption upon them… THEY ARE NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO A DEVIL.
Are Tieflings considered fiends?
Tieflings are classed as humanoids, not fiends (and technically it appears to be a bloodline curse, not even having any fiendish blood). Note that being classed as a fiend would also mean the character would be immune to spells that target humanoids, such as Hold Person.
