You can use Deflect Missiles as much as you want, because it dosent have any costs. But you can just use it as an reaction, and normally you have just 1 reaction every turn. So you only can use it once.
Does Archery work with darts 5e?
Darts are considered ranged weapons and they have the thrown property. It does not work with other thrown weapons such as handaxes or light hammers, because they are considered melee weapons and are therefore ineligible for archery.
Does a javelin count as a ranged weapon?
No. A weapon with the thrown property is still a melee weapon. Just one you can make a ranged attack with. RAW sharp shooter still doesn’t apply to it, since it specifies a ranged weapon, not a ranged attack.

The monk is barely affected. The unarmed strike mistake caused a number of problems in the system. See Dueling in the fighter for one example. So, in other words, not only are unarmed strikes no longer weapons, they were specifically changed to prevent exactly what you’re trying to do.

Close-Quarters Thrower: Very helpful for getting in close, but you can always take a 5-foot step away. False Opening: This is great if you have Sneak Attack. Useless for a Ranger, but great for a Slayer. Pinpoint Targeting: You have full BAB, you should have good dex, and you’re going to have a good weapon.
