“If you are hidden—both unseen and unheard—when you make an attack, you give away your location when the attack hits or misses.” This rule’s wording makes clear that even though the attack exposes you after it hits or misses, you get the advantage of attacking while hidden.
What happens when rage ends?
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns after this one. When your rage ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion (as described in appendix A).

Yes, barbarians can shove or grapple enemies to continue raging. Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. Is it bad for a barbarian to take damage?
Nah, it’s not quite that bad. Rules say that you can continue raging if you take damage OR if you attack a hostile creature. The barbarian in question is attacking herself in order to take damage which prolongs the rage, not because the act of making the attack itself prolongs the rage.
What happens when you make a melee attack as a barbarian?
When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table. You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
How much damage does a 5th level barbarian do?
Well as it goes a 5th level barbarian is only going to be adding +2 rage damage, conversely those extra 5 levels in Rogue would add +2d6 to sneak attack damage, for an average of +7 damage. The combo isn’t going to break anything as it wouldn’t be that difficult to gain sneak attack on most rounds (especially for a 20th lvl character).
