There are 5 magic items in Tyranny of Dragons that if the user has a breath weapon that recharges on a rest it has recharge of 6. A dragonborn can only use its breath weapon once per short or long rest.
Does Nondetection work against true sight?
Yes, Nondetection does block the Trueseeing spell. It does beat True Seeing: The nondetection spell hides you from divination magic. True seeing is a divination spell.
Can you magic missile an invisible target?
Dnd 5e Magic Missle requires you to be able to see the target. PHB, pg 257 “Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range.” Therefore you can’t target an invisible creature with magic missile even if you know the spot they occupy, since you can’t actually see them.
What happens if you try to scry a creature that does not exist?

What is an example of a heavily obscured target?

How does scrying someone who may be dead work?
Depends on (among other things) Death in the campain – one option listed in the Manual of the Planes (3.0 version, at least) is that the dead become petitioners – and thusly are still creatures (if in a different form). My group has interpreted the spell to allow the caster to know if the spell failed because the subject was dead.
