Starting with Origins is probably your best bet. It has a lot of deep choices and decisions with consequences and not only are those prevalent in the main story, but each side quest and hell even things outside of side quests allow you to be nice, mean, selfless, selfish, etc.

Just had the same problem. hopefully you figured it out by now but just in case you didnt. go to the game folder in steam..C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition go into the folder Redist and there are 2 programs you need to run. one is “DAOU…” the other is “DAU..” once you do that everything is unlocked.
