Extra attack requires the Attack action. Cantrips use the Cast a Spell action. They don’t work together unless a gesture explicitly allows it, which none currently do.
Can you grapple multiple times with extra attack?
Extra Attacks: allows to grapple twice, or shove twice, or grapple + shove. Awesome! Or grapple and attack. As a fighter, you have way more attacks than other classes, meaning you can grapple twice and shove twice quite early on, or attack targets that are prone + grappled, and have advantage.
Can you attack multiple enemies with extra attack?
You can move between attacks, as mentioned on page 190 of the PHB. If you take an action that includes more than one weapon attack, you can break up your movement even further by moving between those attacks.
Can you attack multiple targets in 5E?
With the Extra Attack feature you can make two attacks when you take the Attack action. This does not force you to roll them simultaneously, you take one then the next. Rolling multiple attacks at once is for convenience to speed up combat.
When do you get the Extra Attack feature?
The Fighter’s Extra Attack feature says (PHB, pg. 72): Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. The number of attacks increases to three when you reach 11th level in this class and to four when you reach 20th level in this class.
Can a fighter make more than one extra attack?

What does the multiattack entry on a monster do?
The monster’s Multiattack entry will specify not just the number of attacks they can take, but which of their attacks (defined in the same section of their statblock) they are allowed to take. They can’t just swap any of those out with grapple or shove or any other attacks they might have.
Can a monster have more than one attack per turn?
No, even monsters only get one action per turn, and actions should not be confused with attacks. in the case of monsters that can attack multiple times, that’s because Multiattack is one action, that just happens to result in attacking more than once. Each attack is not an attack action!
