Divine Smite is magical. Improved Divine Smite isn’t.
Does divine smite count as weapon damage?
Divine Smite: …you can expend one [Spell Slot] to deal Radiant damage in addition to weapon damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st level slot, plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8….
Is smite doubled?
All damage dice rolled as part of the same attack are doubled, so divine smite, sneak attack, extra damage from weapons, etc. Abilities that add a flat amount (ability bonus, great weapon master) or that require a second check (poison) do not get doubled.
What’s the difference between divine Smite and improved Smite?
This happens even if you do not use Divine Smite on the attack. The only strange restriction that applies to Improved Divine Smite is that it requires a hit with a “melee weapon” whereas Divine Smite only requires a hit “with a melee weapon attack” which can include Unarmed Strikes. I hope this was helpful.
How much radiant damage can you do with divine Smite?
The maximum is on all the extra radiant damage that Divine Smite adds to your normal weapon damage, necessarily including the first 2d8 (emphasis mine): […] you can expend one paladin spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is [a variable amount], to a maximum of 5d8.
When do you get divine smite in RuneScape?
The Paladin gets Divine Smite at 2nd level, where they get Spellcasting and 1st level Spell Slots. You could accomplish this feat of Divine Smite by taking 10 levels in a Primary spellcasting class, and then you’ll still get 6th level spell slots. That would be the most efficient way of doing it, I suppose.
What do you give a divine Smite Paladin?
I have a better idea. Give him Green-Flame Blade, Holy Weapon, Banishing Smite, Divine Smite, Improved Divine Smite, Dueling Fighting style, Holy Avenger Longsword, Half-Orc Savage Attacks & Orcish Fury, and Strength modifier (+6, Manual of Exercise).
