Nope, as far as I could tell the game won’t progress until you do all the yellow story missions in any order.

Doesn’t matter what order you do em in, or if you split off 1 halfway through to go do another. My first playthrough I did Takemura’s split first and he went on recon for like several in game days because his next mission wouldn’t trigger until I got further in the Evelyn/Hellman searches.
