Does Hyperius drop Seraph crystals?
You can get crystals from both Hyperius and Master Gee the Invincible. Both of these fights are more tactical than complicated, and can be really difficult to do without an experienced team. Both of these bosses have quests that lead to them, after you beat the main story for the DLC. Each boss drops ~10 crystals each.

What happens when you defeat Pete the Invincible?
Once Pete’s health is gone, all other enemies disappear/die so there is no need to worry once Pete is defeated. Pete will fall and drop a sweet amount of loot and Seraph Crystals. What’s the problem with Pyro Pete in Minecraft?
Pyro Pete isn’t actually a big problem except for the loooong fight and the DOT effects, just keep moving and he’ll never hit you with anything else. No shields spawn with immunity to both elements (unless there’s a unique/legendary I’m unfamiliar with)
