Nope. Thirsting Blade requires taking the Attack action. Casting a spell uses the Cast A Spell action. This is correct but not specific.

When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you’re holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you’re holding in the other hand. But since your have the Thirsting Blade invocation, and you used the Attack action, you get to attack twice with your pact weapon.

This was a great answer thanks. 🙂 If you gain extra attack for being a level 5 Paladin it does not stack with the warlock incantation Thirsting Blade you can use it with the fighter gaining nits third attack at level 11, which would give you 3 attacks.

Extra Attack says that you can take an extra attack if you take the Attack action. This means that if you took the Attack action after you used your Action Surge to get an extra action, you would get the benefit of your extra attack since you are using your action to attack.
