If you gain extra attack for being a level 5 Paladin it does not stack with the warlock incantation Thirsting Blade you can use it with the fighter gaining nits third attack at level 11, which would give you 3 attacks.
Can Shadow Blade be hex weapon?
The key things are that shadow blade never counts as a pact weapon or as a hex warrior weapon so you can never use charisma with it. This means the hexblade has to use strength or dexterity to attack with a shadow blade and not charisma.
How do warlocks get extra attack?
All classes are limited to one action, one bonus action, one reaction and movement, there’s nothing special to Warlocks. If you’re talking about Extra Attacks, a Pact of the Blade Warlock gets an extra attack feature by picking the invocation ‘Thirsting Blade’.
Can you attack twice with thirsting blade Eldritch?
The Thirsting Blade eldritch invocation (PHB p. 111) says: You can attack with your pact weapon twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Does this combo work within the rules, or is there any interaction I’m not aware of?
Can you use thirsting blade and pact weapon at the same time?
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you’re holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you’re holding in the other hand. But since your have the Thirsting Blade invocation, and you used the Attack action, you get to attack twice with your pact weapon.
Why is thirsting blade treated as extra attack?
The same wording is used in Thirsting Blade as in Extra Attack; this makes it really clear why Thirsting Blade is treated in the same breath as Extra Attack. In that case, the question becomes if the second section of “Extra Attack” on the bladesinger is part of that substitution, or not.
Can a warlock use thirsting blade with a non-warlock?
The warlock’s Thirsting Blade eldritch invocation cannot be normally used with the (non-warlock) class feature Extra Attack, since both feature explicitly say you attack twice instead of once. But it seems to me that you could use both features (if you have them) when using Two-Weapon Fighting.
