Is there a way to play EverQuest on Mac?

Sony Online Entertainment has released its Macintosh edition of EverQuest as a free online download. Measuring 2GB, it’s not small, but if you’ve ever wanted to play the game, this may be your best chance.

Can you play EverQuest 2 on a Mac?

Since there is no Mac client for EQ2, you have to run some kind of simulation. While EQ2 runs great in Bootcamp, you don’t have access to the Mac OSX. Parallels and VMWare may work OK but they have to allocate resources to the Windows OS in addition to the EQ2 client.
