Why did my Battle.net account get hacked?
After calling Blizzard Customer Support, they told me that my Battle.net account had apparently been compromised. Seeing as I’m not a WoW player and had no other assets to steal, whomever had hacked my account had decided to change my Parental Controls settings and email (“to be mean”, in the words of the Support Representative).
Can a bNet account be transferred to a battle net account?
Not sure if those accounts have to be on the same bnet account though. Providing the surname and address etc on both accounts are the same you can transfer characters between battle net accounts, however you can’t transfer the game licence over. It would mean buying BfA again or just playing up to Legion on a subcription basis.
