To get into a guild, all you need to do is contact an officer from the guild you’d like to join and ask them to invite you. Every guild has members with varying ranks, and depending on a player’s rank in the guild, they have guild invitation privileges.

You can access the Guild list from the Social button (looks like a speech bubble with an exclamation point “!”; default key shortcut of O) in the middle section of the command bar and then click the Guild tab at the bottom.
