OP, best bet is the patch, then try that link again. You might need to fire up the game in compatibility mode if it keeps failing. I previously got it working at 1920×1200, so I know it’s possible. Works a charm. All the widescreen patch did was add textures for scopes etc so that the crosshairs wouldn’t get stretched on widescreen monitors.
