- Blow away any dust from the surface of the fightstick with compressed air.
- With the damp cloth, thoroughly wipe the joystick, buttons, and sides.
- Open up the fightstick to blow the dust out of the interior with compressed air.
- Consider taking apart the joystick and buttons to clean them with the cloth.

SOCD cleaner depends on the game. Without the need for SOCD tricks, there’s a few benefits anyway. For example, performing a clean HCB/HCF without SOCD cleaner on a game that does not clean inputs for you is much harder than with cleaned inputs.
