Player-created Snow biomes are possible by placing more than Desktop, and Mobile versions 1,500 / Console, Old-gen console, and 3DS versions 300 Snow Blocks and/or Ice Blocks in an area. Water does not turn into Ice Blocks in a Snow biome.
