Requirements
- Housing must be at least 10 tiles wide(interior).
- Housing must be at least 4 tiles tall(interior).
- Housing must have walls on all sides.
- Housing must have a door.
- Housing must have a Table.
- Housing must have a chair.
- Housing must have a light source.
- Housing must be free of corruption.
What does it mean when a housing is corrupted?
For the corrupted part, it basically means you’re too close to a corruption biome. You are going to have to show the house to see how it’s missing a wall :/ MrPenguinPantz.
What to do if your housing is not valid?
Try adding a ceiling somewhere below your actual ceiling, and then check the validity. If you are invalid, move down (contrary-wise, if you start low and are valid, move up). Wherever you settle on for the location of the “middle” ceiling, you can probably make part of it a platform and wind up with 2 valid housing sections.
Why are all houses in the middle not valid?
“For some reason all houses to the left and in the middle are not valid, just the ones to the right, though all of them are just the same. Anyone who knows what the reason would be?” Odds are you have the Crimson/Corruption getting to close to your housing.
Why is every room in my house invalid?
After killing The Destroyer, I noticed all my NPCs but the Dryad and the Mechanic are gone, because they have been killed by the boss. Now every room in my house is invalid for housing… Anyone knows how to fix this? Please click the link to see a screenshot. Thanks!
Why is my housing not valid in terraria?
I anticipate your house’s “corruption rating” is too high. Corrupt blocks, such as ebonstone or demonite, cannot exist in or next to housing. You’ll want to make your house out of a different material if you wish to have NPC’s move in there.
