- Fuel Tanks – Increases the range (distance) the plane can fly.
- Engine – Increases the plane’s speed (lowering the amount of time it takes to get to its destinations).
- Carbon Fiber – Decreases the plane’s weight, making it cost less coins to fly the plane.

Pocket Planes is a business simulation video game developed by NimbleBit for iOS. It was initially released on 14 June 2012. As of April 19th, 2021, NimbleBit is working on a new Android port. An update to the iOS version is also planned and will see the game available again in all countries.
How do you earn money in Pocket Planes?
There are two ways to earn cash in Pocket Planes: transporting passengers and transporting cargo. Planes are set up to carry one or the other (and sometimes a mix of the two). When viewing a plane, you can hit the plane microscope icon, which will tell you what sort of capacity that plane has. P = Passengers, C = Cargo.
