Installing an official pack
- In the launcher’s main window click on the “FTB MODPACKS” tab.
- Click on one of the packs on the left.
- Once you have chosen your pack click the “Launch” button.
- Wait as the launcher downloads, installs, and launches the pack.
- Enjoy playing Feed the Beast!

What’s the best armor in FTB?
Iron armor really is the best value in vanilla, and in FTB, steel is awesome when you have enough steel from constant blast furnacing to replace your steel armor. Nano was a logical upgrade, and quantum even more so after that.
How do you get feed the Beast on Minecraft?
Click on the desired modpack. Click “Install” by the top-left corner. Navigate back to the profiles page. Click “Play” to load up the Minecraft launcher. Enjoy playing Feed the Beast! How to report bugs on feed the Beast?
If there’s a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers – If there’s no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Why does my launcher not launch Mod packs?
Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical. After fiddling with files and uninstalling/reinstalling, I can’t seem to figure out why my launcher doesn’t want to launch any mod packs at all.
