The Dark Brotherhood will send out Assassins after the Last Dragonborn in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim prior to the Dragonborn joining them. They always carry the Dark Brotherhood Assassin’s Note.
Is it possible to destroy the Dark Brotherhood after joining?
Nope. The moment you talk to astrid after killing any of the hostages, the DB npcs become essential.
Can you be in the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild?
